The G.I.A. Diamond grade is guaranteed-

            All of Lloyd’s diamonds are certified. A certificate is issued stating the exact weight, color, clarity and retail replacement value of your diamond for your records and for insurance purposes. If for any reason the diamond does not grade out as specified on the appraisal within one grade, you may return the diamond for a full refund.

Lifetime Warranty

            We will replace any center solitaire diamond which in normal use separates from its mounting and is lost, with a diamond of equal retail value, provided the diamond and mounting has been cleaned and checked by us at least every six months, and that such inspection has been verified in writing in the space provided on this Warranty. Although diamonds are the hardest substance known to man, they should be handled with care. We cannot be responsible for chipping and cracking. A sudden blow can chip the surface. Take advantage of the free semi-annual inspection and cleaning by Lloyd’s. Lloyd’s may recommend replacing a prong and/or shanks of the mounting in order to eliminate the possibility of loss of the diamond. In the event such repair or replacement is required, you may be charged a normal fee. The warranty does not apply to, nor cover, accidental loss or theft of the diamond and mounting. We urge you to insure your diamond jewelry for casualty loss. Consult your insurance agent for proper coverage.

Trade-in Policy    

            Lloyd’s will give you full credit for the original purchase price of your diamond at any time that you wish to trade it in towards the purchase price of another diamond, provided the price of the new diamond is at least twice the original price, regardless of age or condition of the original mounting. You must have your original sales slip to verify the original purchase price.

Guarantee Voided

            Any repair or alteration of your Lloyd’s diamond purchase (setting of center diamond or side diamonds, sizing, repairs, etc.) by anyone other than Lloyd’s Diamonds in San Antonio, will void all of Lloyd’s diamond guarantees.

Semi-annual Inspection and Cleaning

            To keep your diamond looking new and to be covered under this warranty, it should be inspected and professionally cleaned twice a year. Lloyd’s will do this at no charge. Your diamond ring must be inspected, and inspection verified in writing on this form, every six months to keep this warranty in effect. Feel free to bring your ring in at any time for professional cleaning and inspection. There will be no charge.
